NOF Fellowship


Aim: To support Education and Scientific activities in Orthopaedic Surgery by offering qualified candidate(s) economical support to visit a clinic or scientific laboratory//institution.

Duration: Maximum period for a NOF Fellowship is three months

Fellowship grant: The grant cannot exceed dkr. 100.000

Requirements: Candidates should meet the following requirements:

  1. Member of NOF
  2. Active orthopaedic surgeon
  3. Documentation of scientific activity within Orthopaedic Surgery


Application: Application by e-mail to NOF Secretary General attached

  1. Curriculum Vitae including  list of  scientific publications
  2. Educational curriculum plan
  3. Letter of recommendation signed by Head of department 
  4. Signed letter from Head of Visiting Department/Institution giving detailed information of Programme to be followed.
  5. Detailed budget signed by applicant and Head of department
  6. Passport photo of applicant

Report: For publication in Acta Orthopaedica an electronic report should be sent to Secretary General after terminated NOF Fellowship with enclosed relevant documentation for expenditures.

Deadlines: Application deadline: 31. Marts in the year of a NOF Congress. NOF Fellowship shall normally be terminated 12 months after the candidate(s) has been selected.
