The Nordic Orthopaedic Federation (NOF)
 
 
The NOF is the federation of the national orthopaedic societies of Denmark,
Estonia, Finland, Iceland, The Netherlands, Norway and Sweden and was
founded in 1919. The NOF represents more than 4.600 orthopaedic surgeons.
 
Mission statement of the NOF
The NOF wants to raise the level of orthopaedic care in the Nordic countries
and to make this orthopaedic care available to all patients and thus
improve the quality of life (mobility) in the Nordic countries.
